Facial Rejuvenation with Roberto Iusso

This course will allow acupuncturists to apply the basic principles of Chinese Medicine in order to provide in-depth facial rejuvenation treatments for a wide-range of commonly seen issues.

The practical applications of facial rejuvenation can be a lucrative service for those practitioners who choose to incorporate it into their TCM practice!

Four areas will be comprehensively covered over the 2 day workshop including:

1. Point selection and acupuncture needling techniques for conditions such as dark circles, puffy eyes, drooping skin, scars, fine lines and wrinkles will be introduced. Constitutional imbalances will also be addressed.
2. Participants will also learn how to do a deep, soothing, acupressure-based face massage, utilizing acupuncture points to stimulate qi and blood in the face and neck areas.
3. Facial toning (Facial Yoga) exercises will be learnt so that practitioners can pass this onto clients to facilitate self-care and improvement.
4. The latest Facial cupping techniques will be demonstrated and covered in depth.

Please be ready to give and receive a treatment in class.  Please arrive at the course without any make-up or facial hair (beards/moustaches). 

Course material and supplies will be provided.

**Note: Each attendee will receive a complimentary kit that includes needles, cupping set with oil, gua sha tool and a jade roller!**

A certificate will be issued at the end of the course.

Requirement: This course is for R.Ac's and ND's. Other regulated health care practitioners who are currently practising acupuncture may also be considered provided they have extensive face and skull needling background. Kindly contact us for further information.

Instructor of TCM Theory, External Techniques, Tuina and Introduction to Acupuncture Points

Roberto is a Registered Acupuncturist and a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) teacher at AIM Academy in Toronto.

He has experience integrating different modalities, including TCM acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, Tuina, Shiatsu, and Korean Hand Therapy (KHT) in his treatment approaches with patients.  He has a very strong passion for health and fitness, honed over many years of practicing various sports, meditation, and qigong.

But what he loves most is helping people feel better, become more positive, and lead a more vital life through the application of TCM treatments and lifestyle principles, or as he calls it, ‘realigning your Qi with Nature.’

He maintains a busy practice in Toronto and Mississauga treating numerous conditions including “Facial Acupuncture Rejuvenation”.
