Faculty Profile: Robert Yu-Sheng Tan

Instructor: Jing Luo and Clinical Acupunture Practicum

Robert began studying as a Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioner and Acupuncturist through reading the Shang Han Lun, an important foundation text in Classical Chinese Medicine literature.  He later graduated from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Pharmacology Canada.  Prior to practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Robert graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Computer Science.  Although he enjoyed working with computers, he soon realized that his true calling was in Natural Medicine and decided on a career change he would not regret.

Robert does not specialize and treats a wide variety of issues, including infections, chronic/acute pain, digestive issues, kidney/gallstones, auto immune conditions, fertility, and colds.
