The Jing-Luo (Meridians and Collaterals) System

Course Description:
This course of study presents the complex network of meridians and collaterals that integrate the body's energy and functions into a unified organism. It outlines the formation, function and clinical significance of channel theory, the distribution and pathology of 12 primary channels, the muscle regions and cutaneous regions, plus a summary of research concerning the channels.
Sundays April 3 - July 24, 2022 from 2PM - 6PM

Instructor of Functional Anatomy, Human Anatomy and Jing Luo
Kim is a dedicated Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncturist. She graduated with honours from the Acupuncture and Integrated Medicine Academy in 2008 and now boasts over 11 years of clinical experience running her own practice.
Kim’s career path began with a love of all things related to holistic wellness. Following post secondary education in general science, chemistry and industrial hygiene, Kim moved into the health and fitness space as a CAN FIT pro certified instructor and personal trainer, beginning a long-standing career in well-being.
Over the course of 30 years leading fitness classes and workshops for other instructors across Canada, she has refined a passion for teaching. She has since applied this passion to instructing a foundational acupuncture course (Jing Luo) at the Acupuncture and Integrated Medicine Academy in Toronto.
