Next year marks 40 years since our beginnings, first as the Shiatsu School of Canada, and then renamed to AIM Academy, a milestone that celebrates our evolution into one of Ontario’s leading schools for Acupuncture, Shiatsu, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Part Time Acupuncture Studies
Start at AIM Academy in January 2026!
Classes are held in the morning or afternoon on Sundays or evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, so that you have the flexibility you need to study acupuncture, without quitting your day-job.

TIME: Sundays from 9:00AM - 1:00PM, Tuesdays from 6:00PM - 10:00PM

On October 28, we were proud to join practitioners, students, and supporters of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Queen’s Park for another inspiring TCMO Day!
Each year, this event brings the TCM community together to celebrate the profession, connect with legislators, and advocate for wider access to acupuncture and holistic care in Ontario.

Fukushin: Abdominal Palpation in the Kampo Tradition
with Nigel Dawes
This 2-day workshop introduces the history of Fukushin (Abdominal Diagnosis) and provides a context for its use and application in herbal practice. It also introduces the historical trajectory in which the Kampo system has evolved in the manner it has, leading to its current relevance in contemporary healthcare.
