Maria Virginia Florentin R.Ac

Instructor: Biomedical Pharmacology 

Maria is a Registered Acupuncturist with a Western medicine background. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM) and is an active member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

Maria is a well-trained physician from the Philippines with a strong background in Preventive and Community Medicine. She was an academic for more than 15 years at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), teaching Epidemiology,Research Methods in Medicine, and Community Health.
