Hailey Slaviero
Registered Student Class Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner**
Hailey was introduced to acupuncture in early childhood and developed a lifelong passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic health-care. Her practice is focused on providing patients with the support to live healthy and balanced lives using a combination of modalities including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, guasha, shiatsu, tuina and moxibustion. She enjoys sharing her deep appreciation for TCM with her patients and helping them attain a state of wellbeing. Hailey has clinical experience treating a wide array of health concerns including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety/depression, dermatological issues and gynaecological complaints.
Hailey is a graduate of AIM Academy; she received her Acupuncture Therapy Diploma in 2022 and her Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Diploma in 2023. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University in 2018, with a specialization in East Asian thought and its intersection with wellness. Through her studies she cultivated the tools to care for not only the physical aspects of her patients but the psycho-emotional elements as well. In addition to her TCM clinical experience, Hailey is well-versed in mindfulness meditation and self-compassion strategies and trained in trauma-informed care.
**Note: The Student Class allows those who have graduated but are waiting to take the registration examinations, to perform the controlled acts authorized to the profession (as long as they are under the supervision of a member who holds a General certificate of registration and who has been approved by the Registrar)
