This Facial Rejuvenation course will allow acupuncturists to use basic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to do a cosmetic acupuncture treatment.

Description:

The practical applications of this treatment can be a lucrative service for those practitioners who choose to incorporate it into their TCM practice. Point selection and needling techniques will be taught for conditions such as dark circles, puffy eyes, drooping skin, scars, fine lines and wrinkles. Facial Rejuvenation addresses the person’s constitution as well as their facial appearance.

Participants will also learn how to do a deep, soothing, acupressure-based face massage, utilizing acupuncture points to stimulate qi and blood in the face and neck areas.

We will also spend some time learning facial toning (Facial Yoga) exercises, which can be incorporated into your treatment protocols.

Please be ready to give and receive a treatment in class. Course material will be provided.
