The mission of my work is to help you find comfort and vitality in your body and in how you move, so that you are able to participate fully and freely in all aspects of your life. Come see me for Acupuncture and Rolfing sessions if you have been struggling with chronic pain, recent or recurring injuries, post-surgery recovery, general stiffness and weakness, or overall movement restriction. Also, if you are feeling that things are “out of balance” or something in your body is “off”, or you would like to renew or reawaken your relationship with yourself and your body.

Kirsten Bedard is passionate and knowledgeable about the human body - from movement and exercise to therapeutic bodywork. She has been working with clients for over 25 years, helping people to move efficiently and feel more at ease in their bodies. She has a Nutrition degree and has been a long time exercise trainer, specializing in functional exercise and strength training.

Kirsten is also an AIM Acupuncture graduate who is knowledgeable in Chinese medicine theory and philosophy. She integrates tuina, cupping, moxa, Chinese food therapy, and qigong meditation into her Acupuncture work.

Most recently, Kirsten moved to Colorado to study Rolfing - Structural Integration because she was interested in leaning how to work directly with fascia – the pliable connective tissue that forms the body’s structure and affects how we move and function. Fascia is connected to the body’s nervous system, and Rolfing works with this tissue to create lasting structural changes.

In her practice, Kirsten combines Rolfing, Acupuncture and Functional exercise to help clients overcome chronic tension and structural imbalances, and build balanced strength and flexibility to create new movement patterns.

Outside of work, Kirsten loves the outdoors and walking the city. She loves reading broadly, cooking, and spending weekends with her partner working on their farm north of the city.
